Privileges Of Members

Membership of the local church is a two way relationship: all members give and receive according to their abilities and needs, and so share in the life of the church family. Making the most of membership involves:-

Attending Sunday services, especially the communion service, in order to receive regular teaching from the Bible, to worship and contribute to the building up of others. Privileges and Responsibilities of Church Membership

Being part of a small house group in which there can be sharing in giving and receiving help with problems, personal  encouragement and support.

Praying with others at prayer meetings and informally as occasion arises.

Serving one another and the wider community by using the gifts God has given through various activities of church life.

Giving time, effort and money to the work of the church.

Recognising the leadership of the church, receiving encouragement and guidance from them with a willing heart and offering support for vision and direction as God gives to the church.

Refusing to let anything hinder the work of God in the church as a result of personal differences; always seeking to be open with other members and with the leaders so that disagreements can be quickly resolved and relationships strengthened.
