Church LeadershipThe leadership of the church consists of a minister, elders and deacons. The deacons are elected by the church members and serve for three years. They meet regularly throughout the year to discuss church business. The elders are proposed by the minister and approved by the church. Their term of office is open, but it is re-affirmed every three years. They meet regularly to discuss and pray about the spiritual life of the church. There are also several elders and wives meetings throughout the year for fellowship and prayer.
The Church Members meet to prayerfully consider what God wants the church to do at the church meeting, where all major decisions in the life of the church are taken. There are generally 6 meetings a year, although sometimes a special church meeting is called when the need arises. The church has an Annual General Meeting in April Phone: 01732 843117 emailcontacts: |
