Pillsdon at Malling

Here at West Malling everyone contributes to our community life, which has a high degree of self-sufficiency. Beekeeping is shared with the Sisters, and we have our own home-grown vegetables and fruit. There are also chickens, ducks, geese and sheep, with more livestock to come.
Our Christian principles are those of the first Pilsdon Community which was founded in 1958 near Lyme Regis in Dorset and based on the 17th century Little Gidding Community in Huntingdonshire.
We welcome people to come and share our life, whether it is for a day, a week or many years. People who find themselves isolated and lonely on the fringe of society are particularly welcome.
